Collaborating Community Partners

Let’s Smile, Inc. actively collaborates with organizations at the national, state, and local levels, fostering impactful relationships to enhance oral health initiatives.

At the national level, we are proud members of the American Dental Hygienists Association and maintain a valuable partnership with the National Children’s Oral Health Foundation.

On the state level, Let’s Smile, Inc. is recognized as an approved critical access dental provider by the state of Minnesota and actively contributes as a member of the Minnesota Oral Health Coalition. Our involvement extends to serving on the SEMCAC Head Start Health Advisory Board for southeastern Minnesota counties. Furthermore, our participation in the Minnesota Department of Health’s Dental Sealant Program demonstrates our commitment to statewide oral health initiatives.

Locally, Let’s Smile, Inc. is engaged in community partnerships. We are a member of the Community Services Coordination Team of Steele County and actively participate in annual events such as Project Community Connect in Steele County and Owatonna Community Education’s Family Festival.

Let’s Smile, Inc. collaborates with 27 schools in our service area of Southeastern Minnesota, establishing impactful school-based dental clinics that go beyond traditional dental care. Our collaborative approach involves close coordination with school administrators, social workers, nurses, and support staff to seamlessly integrate our services into the school environment. By setting up dental clinics within the school premises, we eliminate barriers to access and provide convenient oral health care for low-income children and teens.

By fostering strong relationships with schools and co-locating within a community-based building, we aim to create a supportive environment that prioritizes the oral health and overall well-being, contributing to a healthier and more empowered community.
